Ryan Coopergard

Ryan started singing in his California high school choir, and he's been singing in choirs ever since. At St. Olaf College, he sang with Cantorei and The Early Music Singers. While pursuing advanced degrees in Mathematics at the University of Minnesota, he joined the VocalEssence Chorus, of which he is a 10-year member. He is currently a data scientist at the University, working in the healthcare space. Besides singing, he enjoys playing chess and biking around Uptown's chain of lakes. Ryan lives in Minneapolis with his loving husband Peter and their very tiny cat, Meena.
